Ultimate Grapplers Challenge is an organization founded in 2001 that features submission grappling competitions all over the North East United States. The UGC is open all disciplines of grappling and has seen practitioners of jiu jitsu, wrestling, aikido, judo, and sambo compete.

DIVISIONS

The UGC features both gi and no-gi divisions. Divisions are composed based on experience level and weight.


NO-GI DIVISIONS

Division Experience
Beginner Up to a 1.5 years of experience in any grappling training

(Ex: Wrestling, Judo , Aikido , Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu)

Intermediate From a 1.5-3 years of grappling training
Advanced Over 4 years of experience in grappling training.
Pee-Wee Ages 6 and under (Will be split by weight and age)
Children 7 – 9 and 10 – 12 years old
Teens 13 – 15 and 15-17 years old
Women 18 years and older
Men 18 years and older
Masters Over 35 years old
Seniors Over 45 years old
